We’re The Rock Squares, a cover band based in southern Illinois dedicated to making sweet music featuring the unforgettable sounds of the ‘60s all the way through the rockin’ energy of ‘90s alternative. Our musical DNA is equal parts classic grit and alt charm, inspired by icons like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty, charged up by the vibes of REM, Gin Blossoms, Cracker and more!
Expect every set to be packed with driving rhythms, catchy melodies, and the kind of grooves you can’t help but move to. We just love great rock ‘n’ roll, so whether you grew up on old-school vinyl or remember spinning those ‘90s CDs to get your jam on, you’ll find something to get you singing along.
From local stages to festival crowds, our goal is to make every show feel like a celebration of good music, friendly faces, and a few surprises along the way. We believe rock is meant to bring people together, and we’re excited to share our mix of past and present with you.
